What will your day to day look like?

  • Act as an application subject matter expert on various projects with FICOPS components

  • Demonstrate leadership throughout the entire project delivery cycle.

  • Demonstrate excellent business processes understanding and is aware of integration points in a complex multi-company, multi-currency and multi-country landscape

  • Provide and implement strategies to quickly understand and translate business requirements into technology solutions

  • Ensure system integration between SAP modules and/or various platforms included in solution

  • Ensure an integrated view of the business' functional requirements.

  • Lead business blueprint workshops on various processes

  • Lead finance workstream focused on delivering agreed business outcomes.

  • Analyze the as-is and to-be processes and bridge the gap between digital technologies and the business

  • Deliver quality solution designs and ensure technology correlates with business requirements

  • Help the line of business in defining their needs and guide them to the corresponding functionalities

  • Perform configuration according to business needs.

  • Write functional SPECs and collaborate with developers

  • Conceptualize functional analyses and modeling the business processes in correlation of the project scope.

  • Collaborate with the business and technical SMEs.

  • Coordinate the solution’s development and business functional requirements.

  • Provide a finance functional support and expertise during the deployment phases.

  • Maintain technical documentation and knowledge transfer to the support team.

  • Coordinate the integration of solutions and features to projects deliveries.

  • Provide an expertise role, understand, anticipate trends in their area of expertise and make appropriate recommendations in terms of best practices for the organization.

This position is based at our Mississauga location, from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site.

What do you need to be successful?

  • SAP certification in FI, CO or PS module

  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline such as accounting finance or information system

  • 5 or more years of experience in large-scale SAP deployment or major upgrade projects.

  • 5 or more years of hands-on experience in FI module such as AP, AR, GL and Assets, , but most importantly integration with MM, SD, PP, HR and PS, CO – CO-PC, CO-PA, Result analysis/WIP and settlements, Internal Orders and cost centers

  • Expertise in configuration and implementation of SAP Financial Accounting (FI), SAP Managerial Accounting (CO) and SAP Project systems (PS)

  • Knowledgeable of various business processes in manufacturing and service industry

  • Possess a strong knowledge and experience in SAP configuration.

  • Interpersonal communication skills.

  • Positive leadership and great team player

  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Tasks oriented to meet project deadline.

  • Bilingualism; French and English, oral and written

The salary range for this role is 101,500 CAD - 151,500 CAD . The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. RTX offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical and dental coverage, disability benefits, a retirement savings program, and tuition assistance through RTX’s Employee Scholar Program.
