Job Summary

Develop and implement strategies & roadmap for SAP data assets to support digital transformation goals. Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of SAP data products and custom data solutions, ensuring they effectively meet evolving business needs, perform optimally, and are regularly improved to support digital objectives and data driven innovation.

Your Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Act as the central point of contact for all SAP content and custom data products, ensuring continuous alignment with business strategies and process requirements.
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of SAP related data assets, ensuring re-usability, overseeing downstream impact e.g. through data model version control
  • Partners with other IT teams turning SAP data requirements into SAP enterprise data assets
  • Identify and implement SAP Data Products in close alignment with SAP data architecture to support analytics insights and improve user experience by supporting emerging data needs. 
  • Drive design and management of all SAP data products in accordance with design & architecture guidelines on data storage, processing and utilization including performance considerations.
  • Analyze technical as well as data requirements and translate them into functional specifications for implementation in close alignment with enterprise archtecture standards
  • Focus on physical data models, ensuring data governance and data integration for SAP BDC cloud-based data solutions to meet business needs.
  • ·Collaborate with business process experts and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless business solution implementations and integrations with downstream business applications.

  • Ensure proper change management processes and drive data model versioning & release deployments and effective data consumer skills / transparency on assets is in place
  • Engage and manage stakeholders, fostering collaboration and alignment.
  • Ensure SAP data products meet the organization’s security and GDPR requirements, including securing user roles and access control using SAP Identity Management (IdM) or SAP GRC.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to support compliance audits, leveraging SAP's audit logging capabilities and tracking of system changes to ensure data integrity
  • Communicate complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Proven experience in SAP related analytics and reporting as well as in SAP related data sources and products
  • Engage and manage stakeholders at all levels of the organization, fostering collaboration and alignment on data-related initiatives
  • Definition and delivery of data models and execution of data strategies, in alignment with overarching data management principles
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in data management processes and technologies
  • Foster clear data governance through experience in coordinating with both technical and functional teams.
  • Familiarity with compliance and security standards relevant to the application.
  • Strong understanding of data management and governance principles.
  • Extensive knowledge of SAP technologies, with a proven track record of successful implementation and integration in the data analytics area
  • Understanding of main technology features supporting data management and analytics
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Project management skills to oversee the development and delivery of data products.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex data challenges.
  • Ability to align data products with business objectives and deliver measurable value.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Business Administration, or related business field; (Master’s degree is preferred)

English
