SAP Consultant SCM APO Demand Planning (Techno-Functional)

The group  Planning (specifically PL-DP) within the Automotive IT Competence Center - Business Applications (IT BA) is responsible in the process areas of master data maintenance, sales and operations planning.  We are currently looking for a techno-functional consultant with focus on supply chain planning with APO DP.

• Possess an understanding of the demand planning and sales operations planning processes. Strong skills in translating business needs into functional and technical specifications.

• Must have a deep knowledge of the system landscape and standard interface integration with a SAP APO Demand Planning solution.

• Conduct system analysis and provide relevant APO DP system configuration (customizing) according to business requirements. 

• Provides functional and technical support  and implement solutions. Provide support of SAP-systems to investigate, monitor, and resolve incident and/or change management  requests. Define and create authorization concepts and roles in SAP.

• Design and develop ABAP programming requirements within the functional modules of APO DP. Familiarity with development of SAP APO macros, ABAP basics.

• SAP APO DP Configuration: Deep understanding of Demand Planning functionalities, including planning books, data views, macros, and key figures.

• SAP BW/BI Integration: Experience in the development of data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) between SAP BW and APO.

• SAP CIF (Core Interface): Knowledge of integration between SAP ECC and APO.

• Data Modeling & Management: Ability to manage master and transactional data relevant to planning 

• In-depth analysis and debugging of existing programs, interfaces.

• Understanding of project management frameworks used in SAP implementations.

The hired individual will be responsible for the successful delivery of SAP APO Demand Planning  solutions, change management & technology initiatives. 

• University degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field

• Several years of system consultancy and development experience in the area of SAP APO DP, SAP BW

• Experience in implementation projects; SAP APO DP

• With strong integration knowledge of  SAP APO project implementations

• Structured, analytic, strategic and self-dependent operation

• High commitment to work and ability for teamwork

•  Fast-learner, with cross cross-cultural experience; has proven assertiveness and problem-solving abilities

•  Ability to work independently with excellent problem solving skills

• Intercultural competencies

• Knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Fluent  English language skills (both spoken and written)

• Willing to travel, 10-20% of travel is required
