Key Responsibilities:
SAP Business Connector Integration:
- Design, configure, and maintain SAP Business Connector interfaces for system-to-system communication.
- Develop and manage integration flows using XML, XSLT, HTTP/S, IDocs, RFCs, and SOAP protocols.
- Set up communication channels for file-based, API, and real-time integrations with third-party systems.
- Maintain and optimize B2B integrations, supporting EDI scenarios and custom adapters when necessary.
System Support & Troubleshooting:
- Monitor and maintain the health of SAP BC servers, connections, and queues.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolution for interface failures and performance issues.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams for system patching, backup, and disaster recovery planning.
Documentation & Testing:
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including interface specifications, connection setups, and process flows.
- Support unit and integration testing activities, ensuring end-to-end data integrity and performance.
- Assist functional teams and end users during testing and go-live activities.
Collaboration & Governance:
- Coordinate with SAP functional consultants, ABAP developers, and external partners to ensure accurate and secure data exchange.
- Ensure compliance with IT security standards and best practices for data integration and handling.
- Provide guidance on transitioning to modern integration platforms if SAP BC sunset strategies are in place.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Business Connector integration.
- Strong knowledge of XML, IDoc processing, XSLT, SOAP, HTTP/S, and RFC communication.
- Familiarity with SAP NetWeaver architecture and SAP interface technologies (PI/PO, ALE, BAPIs).
- Experience with B2B integration, partner connectivity, and security configurations (SSL certificates, firewalls).
- Understanding of SAP functional modules (SD, MM, FI/CO, etc.) and how they relate to interface needs.
- Ability to read and debug ABAP code is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in migrating SAP BC interfaces to newer platforms (SAP PI/PO, CPI, or Integration Suite).
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA environments and integration strategy.
- Familiarity with EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and file formats (CSV, JSON).
- Knowledge of monitoring tools and integration lifecycle management.

We offer salary from 2300 eur/brutto/month. Salary can be higher depending on experience and skillset
