We are seeking a highly skilled SAP BTP Integration Architect with a specialized focus on the BTP Integration Suite. This role requires a deep understanding of ERP systems and their integration capabilities with various business systems. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and its underlying technologies, with a particular emphasis on the Integration Suite. Additionally, familiarity with other SAP integration technologies such as Process Integration (PI) / Process Orchestration (PO) will be advantageous, as these are integral to achieving comprehensive and effective integration solutions across varied SAP and non-SAP systems.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

• Development of the strategy and design of the S/4HANA native technical and integration toolset to be plugged into the Group wide Technical and Integration architecture, whilst working closely with the Architecture and Program Management Team.

• Keep track of new technologies, product roadmaps, strategies for application development, extensions, UI and integration for streaming, batching and orchestration.

• During the Program development phase, operationally own the technical architecture and Integration platform of choice

• Ability to identify and resolve technical issues as and when they arise.

• Work closely with Business Analysts/Functional Consultants to translate complex business specs into technical design

• Facilitate workshops to design the above and implement the POCs and trial pilot roll outs 

• Lead the partner consulting teams with a dotted reporting line to the role for implementation and  Integration for the program 

• Ensure the alignment of partnering consulting team’s implementation to design and best practices

• Deliver Architecture artefacts and review the technical and integration solutions and associated documentation

Now let’s talk about you: 

• 12+ years of IT experience with 7+ years specialising in technical application and Integration design and development.

• Solid understanding of development and integration principles, best practices and patterns.

• Extensive experience operating as a SAP Senior Development and Integration Consultant/Lead - with at least 3 full life cycle implementation in SAP centric environments  

• Experience in design, build and troubleshooting of integrations using SAP Middleware Technology with all the infra, security and network considerations

• Extensive experience with EDI Gateway, Data Services, ABAP/WebDynpro/Fiori/CPI/CPI DS

• Extensive experience of working in various SAP specific integration technologies (ABAPProxy, BAPI/RFC/IDOC/Web Services/ IDOC/REST/OData/UI5 enhancements)

Desirable 

• Experience with WebMethods/ MuleSoft /Informatica is an added advantage.

• Experience in Enhancement Framework, Object Oriented programming within SAP

• Experience on SAP AIF, BTE Framework 

• Knowledge of native cloud- GCP and/or Azure toolsets.
