We're on the hunt for a seasoned SAP Basis professional with a passion for HANA DB and S4 HANA administration, who will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and support of SAP systems, with a focus on S/4HANA environments. This includes managing the SAP landscape, ensuring system performance, and implementing SAP best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
SAP Basis Administration:
Manage and administer SAP systems, including installation, configuration, monitoring, and performance tuning.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as backup and recovery.
Troubleshoot issues related to ABAP and other SAP technologies.
Manage user administration, including creating, deleting, and modifying users.
Maintain system security and access controls.
HANA Database Administration:
Install, configure, and maintain SAP HANA databases.
Perform database migration activities, including upgrades from non-SAP systems.
Configure backup and recovery strategies for HANA databases.
Troubleshoot database performance issues and query optimization problems.
Ensure high availability of HANA systems through clustering and other solutions.
S/4HANA Support:
Provide technical support for S/4HANA systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
Participate in S/4HANA upgrades and system refreshes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business requirements.
Other Responsibilities:
Document technical procedures and configurations.
Participate in project planning and execution.
Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP technologies and best practices.
Skills Required
- 8-12 years experience in SAP Basis administration
- Experience administering SAP S/4HANA environments
- Experience with SAP HANA database administration (installation, configuration, maintenance)
- Experience with database migration activities and upgrades
- Backup and recovery strategy configuration and execution for SAP and HANA
- Performance tuning and troubleshooting for SAP systems and HANA databases
- High availability and clustering solutions for HANA
- User administration, system security and access control management
- Troubleshooting experience with ABAP and other SAP technologies
- Participation in S/4HANA upgrades, system refreshes, and project execution
- Document technical procedures and configurations
