About the role
We are looking for a knowledgeable and hands-on SAP Basis/NetWeaver/Solution Manager/Security Consultant to join our SAP technical team.
This multifaceted role involves managing the SAP landscape, ensuring optimal performance and availability, supporting SAP Solution Manager, and maintaining robust SAP security and compliance.
You will work closely with functional consultants, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality SAP services.
This position requires a deep understanding of SAP Basis administration, technical architecture, Solution Manager configuration, and SAP security best practices.
Daily challenges
SAP Basis & NetWeaver Administration:
- Perform day-to-day administration of SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, GRC, Fiori, etc.).
- Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and troubleshoot SAP systems and databases (HANA, Oracle, MS SQL, etc.).
- Manage SAP transports, performance tuning, background jobs, and system monitoring.
- Perform kernel upgrades, OSS note implementation, and system copies/refreshes.
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness of SAP systems.
- Monitor and maintain system health using tools like SAP Solution Manager, CCMS, and SAP EarlyWatch.
SAP Solution Manager (SolMan):
- Configure and manage SolMan functionalities such as System Monitoring, ChaRM, ITSM, EWA, and Technical Monitoring.
- Support integration of Solution Manager with managed systems.
- Maintain LMDB, SLD, and Landscape Management within SolMan.
- Assist in setup of Solution Documentation and test management tools.
- Act as a key resource for SAP operations support through SolMan features.
SAP Security:
- Administer and design SAP security roles, authorizations, and profiles across SAP landscapes.
- Execute user administration tasks and ensure proper access provisioning and de-provisioning.
- Conduct risk analysis, SoD checks, and support compliance audits.
- Utilize SAP GRC (if available) for access control and emergency access management.
- Investigate and resolve authorization-related issues across systems.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with SAP functional teams and project managers on system changes and deployments.
- Provide technical support during go-lives, upgrades, and migrations.
- Participate in system landscape planning and architecture discussions.
- Document procedures, best practices, and system configurations.
eXperience and skills required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on SAP Basis experience including NetWeaver stack components.
- Experience with SAP Solution Manager 7.2 and its core functionalities.
- Solid understanding of SAP security principles and user access controls.
- Experience with SAP HANA administration and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with OS (Linux/Unix/Windows) and database administration relevant to SAP.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SAP cloud services is a plus.
- Knowledge of SAP GRC, IDM, and integration scenarios is advantageous.
- SAP certifications in Basis, Security, or HANA are preferred.

We offer salary from 2100 eurо/brutto/month. Salary can be higher depending on experience and skillset
