Job DescriptionWe are looking for a highly skilled SAP Archiving Consultant to support and lead initiatives in document archiving across our SAP landscape.
This role involves providing expert consulting for SAP archiving strategies, collaborating with technical teams, and designing archiving solutions tailored to complex enterprise environments.
The ideal candidate brings both deep technical expertise and a process-oriented mindset, capable of driving cross-module SAP integration and supporting business stakeholders in implementing archiving solutions effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert consulting for SAP Document Archiving.
- Advise and collaborate with IT experts on the implementation of cross-module SAP solutions in distributed environments.
- Design scalable and compliant S/4HANA document archiving landscapes across global business units.
- Support business departments in the process-driven implementation of SAP Archiving.
- Take ownership of archiving services within related projects.
- Manage and fulfill document archiving requests.
- Maintain and support archiving systems and solutions, ensuring stability and compliance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Solid experience in SAP ArchiveLink, DVS-KPro, S/4HANA, Fiori and HDM.
- In-depth knowledge of Document Archiving technologies, processes, and infrastructure components such as OpenText and CMIS interface.
- Broad understanding of SAP business processes across SAP modules.
- Experience in SAP customizing, ABAP development, and transport management.
- Strong analytical thinking and solution-oriented approach to problem solving.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills across technical and business teams.
- Ability to conceptualize solutions within complex IT and process architectures.
- Comfortable working in virtual, distributed international teams.
- Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken.
- Structured and methodical approach to requirements analysis and solution design.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in large-scale S/4HANA transition or archiving strategy projects.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance aspects in archiving.
- Knowledge in data archiving.
