Job Summary:
The SAP IT Engineer will be responsible for the technical ownership, support, configuration, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of SAP applications and end-to-end platforms within the Business-to-Government, B2G, organization, with a strong focus on Brazil electronic invoicing solutions.
This role requires an integral SAP consultant profile with functional and technical understanding of SAP, especially SAP SD and FI modules. The ideal candidate should be able to interact with business requirements, analyze incidents or new needs, propose solution designs, configure SAP, troubleshoot end-to-end issues, and coordinate with internal technical and project teams.
This is not a pure ABAP developer role. The position requires basic to intermediate ABAP knowledge to support break/fix programming, debugging, and minor enhancements when needed, but programming is not the primary day-to-day activity. The ideal candidate has stronger experience as a SAP techno-functional consultant rather than a career background focused only on ABAP development.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide techno-functional support for SAP applications and platforms related to B2G and Brazil electronic invoicing processes.
Design, configure, support, and troubleshoot SAP e-invoicing solutions, especially for Brazil NF-e and related fiscal requirements.
Analyze business requirements, incidents, and production issues to identify root causes and propose appropriate SAP-based solutions.
Support SAP SD and FI processes, including Order to Cash, billing, invoicing, credit/debit notes, accounting integration, and related document flows.
Perform SAP configuration and functional analysis to ensure solutions meet business, user, compliance, and stakeholder needs.
Troubleshoot end-to-end integration issues involving SAP, middleware platforms, tax authority communication, and electronic invoicing applications.
Review and approve functional and technical specification documents.
Collaborate with business users, product teams, developers, project managers, service management teams, and other IT stakeholders.
Support solution development governance from a technical and product team perspective, including quality assurance, release management, and production readiness.
Perform basic to intermediate ABAP analysis, debugging, and break/fix programming when required.
Support minor custom enhancements or targeted code changes when identified as part of incident resolution or requirement analysis.
Monitor and analyze integration flows, including SAP PO inbound/outbound logs, RFCs, queues, and message tracing.
Ensure compliance with global standards, support models, and operational procedures.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for SAP digital solutions and B2G platforms.
