We are looking for a Senior ABAP Full Stack Developer to join our SAP development team. This role combines deep ABAP backend expertise with modern SAP UI5/Fiori frontend development, bridging the gap between core SAP systems and next-generation user experiences.
The ideal candidate is a big-picture thinker who can own end-to-end SAP solutions — from backend business logic and data modeling through OData service exposure to polished Fiori applications.
You'll work on critical banking systems, driving modernization while maintaining rock-solid reliability.
Responsibilities:
ABAP Development — Design and develop complex ABAP programs, reports, enhancements, BADIs, user exits, and custom function modules across SAP modules
SAP UI5 / Fiori Applications
Build modern, responsive Fiori applications using SAPUI5 framework, XML views, controllers, and component architecture
OData Service Development
Create and maintain OData services (SAP Gateway) to expose backend data and logic to frontend applications
End-to-End Delivery
Own the full development lifecycle from requirements analysis through design, implementation, testing, and deployment
Integration & Interfaces
Develop IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and API-based integrations between SAP and external systems
Performance & Optimization
Analyze and optimize ABAP code, database queries, and CDS views for high-volume banking scenarios
Requirements:
ABAP Expertise — 5+ years of hands-on ABAP development experience including ABAP OO, ALV, Smart Forms/Adobe Forms, enhancements (BADIs, exits)
SAP UI5 / Fiori
Practical experience developing SAP UI5 applications, Fiori elements, and custom Fiori apps on SAP Fiori Launchpad
OData & SAP Gateway
Solid experience building and consuming OData services via SAP Gateway (SEGW), including entity sets, navigation, and deep operations
CDS Views
Experience with Core Data Services (CDS) for data modeling, analytics, and service exposure
SAP Module Knowledge
Working knowledge of at least one SAP module (FI/CO, MM, HR, SD) and its data structures
ABAP RAP / CAP
Familiarity with the ABAP RESTful Application Programming model (RAP) or SAP Cloud Application Programming (CAP)
Debugging & Analysis
Strong debugging skills, ability to analyze complex landscapes, trace issues across layers, and deliver robust solutions
Independent Ownership
Ability to work independently, take full ownership of features, and drive them to production with minimal oversight
Advantages:
S/4HANA Experience
Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, including migration projects or greenfield implementations
SAP BTP
Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform services (Integration Suite, Workflow, HANA Cloud)
Financial Domain
Background in banking or financial services SAP environments
