SAP ABAP / CPI Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and customize SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, and enhancements to support business processes.
2. Design and implement CPI integration scenarios to integrate SAP and non-SAP systems.
3. Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
4. Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing for developed solutions.
5. Provide production support and troubleshooting for SAP ABAP and CPI-related issues.
6. Stay updated with SAP technologies and best practices to suggest improvements and optimizations.
7. Document technical designs, configurations, and development activities.
8. Participate in project planning, estimation, and deployment activities as needed.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience working with SAP ABAP development, and 4 years’ experience working with CPI.
3. Hands-on experience with SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) development and configuration.
4. Proficiency in ABAP programming including ABAP Objects, BAPIs, BADI, User Exits, and IDOCs.
5. Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 development is a plus.
6. Strong understanding of SAP functional modules such as SD, MM, FI/CO, etc.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
8. Good communication skills with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
9. SAP certification in ABAP development/ SAP Integration Suite is preferred.
