Kaufman Rossin is seeking Staff and Seniors within our Core Tax practice! You will support the preparation of federal and state income tax compliance engagements for a variety of business entities. You will work closely with our U.S. tax teams and India leadership to deliver accurate, timely, and high-quality tax services to our clients.
Requirements
- Prepare multi-state income tax returns for corporations, S-corporations, partnerships, and composite/withholding/pass-through elective returns.
- Assist with tax compliance engagements while ensuring accuracy and adherence to applicable tax regulations.
- Utilize tax preparation software to complete returns efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with U.S.-based tax professionals and India managers to support engagement deadlines and client needs.
- Research tax issues and apply technical knowledge to assigned projects.
- Manage workload and communicate progress to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
What Skills You’ll Bring:
- 2+ years of experience preparing income tax returns within a public accounting or professional services environment.
- Experience with tax preparation software.
- Strong understanding of tax compliance processes and deadlines.
- Ability to prepare and review multi-state tax returns.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members across different locations and time zones.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
How You'll Stand Out:
- Experience with tax software such as GoSystem or CCH Axcess.
- Understanding of state apportionment concepts.
- Experience preparing composite, withholding, and pass-through elective tax returns.
- Accounting degree or relevant educational background.
- Experience supporting U.S. tax engagements while working with international teams.
