Podean is seeking a technical expert in Salsify to lead the transformation of our catalog management. You will be the owner of the implementation, migration, and syndication of our product data. Your main mission is to convert our raw data into high-performance content ("Retail Ready") and automate the direct connection via API with Amazon and other marketplaces, ensuring our toys shine on the digital shelf.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the Data Readiness phase by auditing, normalizing, and standardizing master files (Excel, CSV, ERPs) prior to ingestion
- Identify information gaps (missing attributes, formatting inconsistencies) and coordinate with product teams to resolve them
- Configure the core PIM structure in Salsify, including Properties, Enumerations, and Taxonomies
- Design, build, and maintain Channels and Sales Channels, with priority focus on Amazon
- Create and maintain export Templates that meet the strict requirements of each retailer
- Develop Computed Properties and advanced Formulas within Salsify to automate data quality (e.g., title concatenation, unit conversions, attribute translations)
- Schedule and maintain Readiness Reports and quality scorecards to ensure products are not published with incomplete data
- Implement and manage the Salsify DAM module
- Establish workflows for asset upload, tagging, and automatic association of images (Hero, Secondary, Lifestyle) to SKUs
- Configure image transformation rules, including automatic resizing and format changes to meet Amazon standards
- Configure and authenticate direct API connections with Amazon (Vendor Central and Seller Central)
- Monitor Amazon feedback loop reports and resolve publishing errors in real time (e.g., suppressed listings, validation errors)
- Ensure continuous inventory and content updates to support always-on syndication
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience implementing or administering Salsify PIM/DAM (required)
- Advanced mastery of Excel, including VLOOKUPs, macros, and large-scale data cleaning
- Strong understanding of data exchange formats such as JSON, XML, and CSV
- Ability to create and maintain regular expressions (Regex) and logical formulas
- Proven ability to manage projects end to end, from kick-off through go-live
- Exceptional attention to detail, with an understanding that misconfigured attributes can directly impact sales
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve issues independently
- Ability to translate technical requirements into clear, actionable guidance for Marketing and Sales teams
- Salsify Administrator Certification or equivalent experience (nice to have)
- Familiarity with Amazon or other marketplaces, including content requirements (A+ Content, titles, bullets, backend keywords) and flat file structures
- Knowledge of GDSN (Global Data Synchronization Network)
