We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team at Smartly to help build a brand-new integration to our platform. While we can’t publicly share all the details just yet, this is an exciting greenfield project that will connect us with world-leading tech partners and serve some of the largest organizations in the world.
You’ll play a key role in shaping the architecture and implementation from the ground up, so we’re looking for someone who thrives in ownership, values clean and scalable solutions, and enjoys working closely with both engineers and product stakeholders.
The main technologies in our stack are Node.js, React & TypeScript.
As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will:Have end-to-end ownership of a new platform integration
Design, build and monitor data-intensive microservices systems
Collaborate closely with other engineers, product managers and designers to deliver cutting edge solutions for our clients
Take part and facilitate team activities such as dailies, retros and brainstorming sessions
Coach and mentor other members of the team to follow best practices and industry standards
Experience in backend development using modern technologies such as Node.js and Typescript
Experience in building robust, complex and distributed web applications
Motivation for solving customers problems and delivering value to customers at a fast pace
Strong collaboration skills & ability to coach other engineers in the team
