Job brief:

The Salesforce Technical Program Manager is responsible for the overall design and architecture of functional Salesforce solutions, recommending best-practice designs aligned with client business needs. This role involves mapping business requirements to system and technical specifications, understanding the project's technical complexity, and providing both functional and technical guidance to the project team. In an internal, client-facing role, strong professionalism, interpersonal skills, and deep functional knowledge of the Salesforce platform are critical for the successful delivery of each project.

The impact you'll make:

  • Optimize efficiency, reduce business costs, and ensure high data quality across all Salesforce implementations.
  • Develop proof-of-concepts for future-state solutions, including data models, data flows, interfaces, and workflow/business process maps.
  • Liaise continuously with stakeholders to understand operational needs and translate them into well-architected Salesforce solutions.
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, functional designs, and technical designs.
  • Design solution architectures, manage development plans and budgets, oversee project timelines, and ensure quality checks on deliverables before final closure.
  • Regularly update management on issues, risks, and the status of Salesforce solutions.
  • Present future plans and roadmaps for continuous improvement and added value.
  • Work closely with stakeholders from Order Management Systems (OMS), Salesforce, and Ad Ops Program Management to translate business needs into platform improvements, processes, and tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ad technology and creative integrations by collaborating with Ad Ops, Creative Lab, Offering Management, Data Sales, Ad Product, and Ad Technology teams to ensure client-effective solutions.
  • Gain deep expertise in Ad Ops processes, policies, systems, and controls, including ad servers, order management systems, and integrated tools, to assess program impacts and manage risks in campaign management processes.
  • Assist in project coordination by developing detailed plans, identifying task owners, managing deadlines, highlighting dependencies and risks, and maintaining effective communication with key stakeholders.
  • Design and build custom processes and applications within Salesforce. Oversee QA, testing, debugging, and maintain Ad Ops documentation and manuals.
  • Understand and assess the impact of new and existing ad features to operationalize them smoothly while mitigating risks to ad products.

What you've accomplished:

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field such as Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Math, etc.
  • 5+ years of experience in solution, discovery, business analysis, project management, and technology implementation in full life-cycle CRM engagements
  • 5+ years of experience working with the Salesforce platform
  • Salesforce Certifications: Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, Platform App Builder
  • 5+ years of experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to explain technical solutions to both technical peers and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Skills:

  • Master's degree in a STEM field such as Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Math, etc.
  • 7+ years of experience in solution, discovery, business analysis, project management, and technology implementation in full life-cycle CRM engagements
  • 7+ years of experience working with the Salesforce platform and familiarity with Google Ad Manager
  • 7+ years of experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Community Cloud
  • Salesforce Certifications: Salesforce Certified Application Architect
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to explain technical solutions to both technical peers and non-technical stakeholders

Base Salary: $160k

The base salary offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region of work premises, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
