About the Team
The Information Technology (IT) function is seen as an important enabler to the achievement of HammondCare’s mission. This is driven by the requirement of the organisation to meet the changing needs of people with complex health or aged care needs and our employees within a growing geographically diverse organisation and across a continuum of care.
The role of Salesforce Solution Architect works within the Mission and Mission in Action of HammondCare to ensure that HammondCare’s internal Platforms team can support ongoing development of technical solutions to support business process and can get best value from its investment in all Platform Applications. This role has a particular focus on Salesforce technical solution design and architecture.
This role is based at St Leonards and has working from home options.

Responsibilities
Design and deliver scalable Salesforce solutions aligned to enterprise architecture and platform strategy.
Guide development teams on best-practice implementation across Flow, Apex, Lightning, and integrations.
Ensure all solutions meet security, performance, and Salesforce platform standards.
Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, and platform teams to deliver business-aligned outcomes.
Contribute to agile delivery through active participation and facilitation of design and sprint ceremonies.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to developers and junior team members.
Translate business requirements into well-defined solution designs and actionable user stories.
Present solution designs and technical updates to stakeholders and governance forums.
Support release planning, deployment activities, and resolution of production issues.
Build strong relationships with internal teams, vendors, and partners to drive successful delivery and capability uplift.
About you
Commitment to engage and align with HammondCare’s Christian Mission, Motivation and Mission in Action
Salesforce Certified Solution Architect or equivalent experience
Minimum 5+ years in a technical Salesforce Role
Able to collaboration and communicate across different roles from leadership to junior administrators
Strong planning and organising skills with the ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
Experience in the Aged Care, Health Sector or Non-profit organization desirable
Additional coding, development and programming capabilities desirable
Salesforce Certification: Application Architect, System Architect, Data Architect desirable
Agile/Scrum qualifications, along with experience with Confluence and Jira applications desirable
