About the Team  

The Information Technology (IT) function is seen as an important enabler to the achievement of HammondCare’s mission. This is driven by the requirement of the organisation to meet the changing needs of people with complex health or aged care needs and our employees within a growing geographically diverse organisation and across a continuum of care.  

The role of Salesforce Senior Solution Architect works to ensure that HammondCare’s internal Platforms team can support ongoing development of technical solutions to support business process and can get best value from its investment in all Platform Applications.  

This role is a 22 month contract based at St Leonards with hybrid opportunities.

Responsibilities  

• Own and drive the HammondCare Salesforce platform architecture strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment to enterprise objectives, scalability, security, and long-term sustainability. 

• Establish and enforce solution design standards, architectural principles, and governance processes, chairing design forums to ensure adherence to Salesforce Well-Architected best practices.

• Lead and oversee the end-to-end design of Salesforce solutions and integrations, ensuring high-quality, maintainable, and efficient technical outcomes across all initiatives. 

• Manage and mentor a platform development team, providing technical leadership, coaching, and capability uplift to ensure high performance and continuous professional growth. 

• Partner with Product Owners and agile teams to shape backlogs, guide sprint planning, and allocate technical work, ensuring efficient and high-quality delivery execution. 

• Provide expert-level contribution across Salesforce technologies (Flow, Apex, Lightning, APIs, integrations), supporting complex problem solving and critical delivery activities where required. 

• Act as a trusted technical advisor to business and technology stakeholders, presenting solution designs, influencing decisions, and communicating complex concepts clearly. 

• Support and govern release management, environment strategy, and platform integrity, ensuring stability across deployments and minimising production risk. 

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and translate requirements into scalable solution designs and prioritised backlog items, ensuring alignment to platform strategy. 

About you  

• Commitment to engage and align with HammondCare’s Christian Mission, Motivation and Mission in Action 

• Salesforce Certified Solution Architect or equivalent experience 

• Minimum 5+ years in a technical Salesforce Role, leadership/management experience 

• Able to collaboration and communicate across different roles, including the Senior Leaderships Team 

• Strong planning and organising skills with the ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines 

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail 

• Experience in the Aged Care, Health Sector or Non-profit organisation desirable 

• Additional coding, development, data and programming capabilities desirable 

• Salesforce Certification: Application Architect, System Architect, Data Architect desirable 

• Agile/Scrum qualifications, along with experience with Confluence and Jira applications desirable
