This is a full-time role in Seattle, WA
We are looking for a Salesforce Developer with software engineering experience to help shape the next generation of SoFi's customer engagement and operational tools. As SoFi continues to push the boundaries of fintech innovation, Salesforce is a key platform powering our Home Loans Sales teams and enhancing our ability to deliver exceptional experiences to our members.
In this role, you’ll be at the center of it all — designing and implementing end-to-end solutions across both custom applications and Salesforce, integrating systems, improving internal tools, and enabling smarter workflows across the business. You’ll bring a thoughtful, scalable approach to building and maintaining reliable, well-architected systems.
We’re looking for proficiency in Salesforce Development with software engineering experience. (e.g., Apex, Lightning Components, Salesforce APIs, Java/Kotlin/Python/React/JavaScript) and excited about building robust solutions that bridge modern web technologies with Salesforce’s capabilities. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a bias for action, strong collaboration skills, and a passion for building systems that have a real impact on internal users and end customers alike. You’ll work closely with Product, Design, and cross-functional engineering teams across the full development lifecycle—from discovery and planning to implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
What you'll do:- Design, develop, and administer operational solutions across both custom apps and the Salesforce platform.
- Build scalable integrations between Salesforce and internal/external systems.
- Develop robust, reusable components in Apex, Lightning Web Components, and front-end frameworks like React.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure high code quality and performance through code reviews, testing, and continuous delivery practices.
- Drive architectural decisions and contribute to technical strategy.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team growth and engineering excellence.
- 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer (Apex, LWC, Flows, and Salesforce APIs).
- Proficient experience as a software engineer, with experience across both frontend and backend.
- Experience with Salesforce Financial Service Cloud or Sales Cloud is a plus.
- Experience with modern web frameworks (e.g., React, Node.js) and backend technologies.
- Proficient in Java, Kotlin or Python and experience working with RESTful APIs and building integrations.
- Experience with cloud services like AWS is a plus.
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
