The PositionSalesforce SFDC DevOps Lead
Mission
As an SFDC (Salesforce) DevOps Lead, you will join the Product Development, Integration, and Engineering chapter, which is dedicated to fostering excellence and mastery in innovative software product development capabilities. Our mission is to provide comprehensive software development and integration expertise, as well as technology leadership, across various business and foundational teams to harness technology for the betterment of patient outcomes. We are committed to utilizing rapid prototyping techniques, technology consulting, and advisory services to address specific software solution challenges.
In your role as an SFDC DevOpsLead, you will be responsible for spearheading the Software Development Lifecycle and DevOps process for Salesforce solutions enabling continuous delivery of high-quality software releases in an efficient, reliable, and frequent manner.
The Opportunity:

Guide the DevOps process and tooling for Salesforce solutions, including flow, quality and automation considerations.

Provide technical guidance and support to DevOps engineers and development teams, ensuring best practices (shift-left) and high-quality code. This includes mentoring and coaching team members, and providing constructive feedback.

Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective development processes and automation solutions for the Salesforce domain.

Participate in architectural and design discussions, and make recommendations for technical improvements. This may involve evaluating Salesforce and engineering technologies and features, and assessing their applicability to specific Roche requirements.

Stay updated with the latest Salesforce features and engineering technologies, and provide expertise on best practices and industry trends.
Who you are:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
-
Proficiency in Salesforce development and administration, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, and declarative tools.

Proven experience in Salesforce DevOps (CI/CD) toolchain design, configuration, and optimization (e.g. Salesforce DX, Git, Ant, PMD).

Strong understanding of version control, branching strategies, and release management for Salesforce applications.

Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. The ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders is essential.

Can facilitate change in a constructive and sustainable way to contribute to the goal of improving Salesforce software delivery and value flow.

Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Development Lifecycle and Deployment Architect, Platform Developer, Salesforce Administrator, or Salesforce Technical Architect are highly desirable.
