Application Systems Lead – Salesforce & CPQ (EU)
SUMMARY
The Application Systems Lead – Salesforce & CPQ (EU) serves as a strategic technology partner within the IT organization, supporting and evolving Salesforce CRM, CPQ, and integrated sales technologies across the European business. This role combines platform administration, business systems leadership, regional stakeholder engagement, and project execution to ensure scalable, stable, and business-aligned solutions.
This position will play a critical role in supporting and advancing key EU initiatives, including the implementation of Infor CPQ and integration with Salesforce, while helping drive long-term platform strategy, adoption, governance, and operational maturity across the region.
The ideal candidate brings a blend of technical expertise, business partnership, systems thinking, and project leadership experience within enterprise CRM and CPQ environments.
YOUR IMPACT
Regional Salesforce & CPQ Leadership
- Serve as the primary IT partner supporting Salesforce and CPQ capabilities across the EU business
- Build strong relationships with regional sales, operations, and business stakeholders to understand challenges, prioritize needs, and improve platform adoption
- Support onboarding and integration of acquired brands and evolving regional business processes into the Salesforce ecosystem
Infor CPQ & Strategic Project Leadership
- Play a key role in the EU Infor CPQ implementation and Salesforce integration initiative
- Coordinate across technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and project resources to support successful delivery and adoption
- Help define scalable processes and future-state platform capabilities supporting long-term global strategy
Salesforce Administration & Platform Support
- Provide day-to-day operational support and troubleshooting for Salesforce applications, integrations, and related technologies
- Configure and maintain Salesforce platform functionality, security, workflows, automation, and supporting processes
- Support release management, deployments, testing coordination, and post-release validation activities
Business Systems & Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes, automation, usability, and operational efficiency across sales and CPQ workflows
- Partner with business teams to translate operational needs into scalable technical solutions
- Support roadmap planning and continuous improvement initiatives across CRM and CPQ platforms
Platform Governance & Operational Maturity
- Help establish scalable support practices, documentation standards, knowledge transfer processes, and ownership models across integrated systems
- Improve long-term sustainability, visibility, and operational continuity within the Salesforce and CPQ ecosystem
- Contribute to platform governance, adoption standards, and alignment with enterprise IT strategy
Data, Integration & Technical Support
- Utilize Salesforce tools, SOQL, APIs, and related technologies to support integrations, reporting, troubleshooting, and data management activities
- Support system monitoring, automation, orchestration, and integration reliability across connected platforms
- Collaborate with adjacent application and infrastructure teams supporting enterprise business systems
Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in both project-based initiatives and operational support activities
- Support ITIL processes, issue management, change management, and service delivery practices
- Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 4-7+ years of experience supporting Salesforce and related enterprise business systems
- Experience working with Salesforce administration, configuration, integrations, workflows, security, and platform support
- Experience supporting cross-functional business processes in a global or regional enterprise environment
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to balance operational support responsibilities with strategic initiatives and project delivery
- Familiarity with Jira or similar work management and issue tracking tools
- Foundational understanding of integrations, APIs, data management, and enterprise application support models
STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS
- Salesforce Administrator Certification(s)
- Salesforce Platform App Builder Certification
- Salesforce Business Analyst Certification
- Experience supporting Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or CPQ-related solutions
- Experience with CPQ platforms and sales process automation
- Experience with Infor CPQ or other enterprise CPQ platforms strongly preferred
- Experience supporting ERP, CRM, or enterprise application integrations
- Experience working with international business teams and global deployments
- Experience supporting acquisitions, organizational integrations, or business transformation initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Systems, or related field

This individual is comfortable operating within both operational support and strategic project environments, can build trusted partnerships with regional business teams, and is capable of helping guide large-scale Salesforce and CPQ initiatives from both a technical and operational perspective.
This role is highly visible within the EU organization and will play a key role in supporting the future evolution of Salesforce and CPQ capabilities across the business.
