Overview of Position

Supports the technical capabilities of Salesforce Marketing Cloud for all Lines of Business across L&R. This role is integral in supporting the increasing demands from our sales & marketing organization for high-impact, results-driven campaigns, emails, journeys and fully customized & automated marketing efforts for various firms, channels, and audiences.

This position can be open to remote for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality emails, OFTs, and digital media in line with our strategy and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, develop, and execute triggered email marketing programs.
  • Optimize emails through A/B and multivariate testing (template, content, calls-to-action, timing, and frequency).
  • Develop dynamic content using AmpScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Configure and deploy various email campaigns and journeys (one-time, recurring, triggered, or dynamic-driven).
  • Adhere to a strict email campaign quality control process, including tasks like data cleansing, list management, and planning/building journey streams.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement within the email marketing environment.

What you need to know

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years in digital marketing; 4+ years managing email campaigns.
  • Proficient in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, AmpScript, HTML, CSS, and scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, SQL).
  • Familiarity with CRM (SFDC) preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, multi-tasking, and creative problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Certification (preferred or willingness to attain).
  • Experience with responsive email design and automated email journeys.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM (SFDC)
  • Experience with the other SFMC Studios (Web, Automation, Mobile, Advertising, Personalization (MCP), Intelligence (MCI)).
  • Experience implementing dynamic content using Ampscript is a must.
  • Experience with SQL queries and APIs.
  • High-level expertise in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Knowledge of current email best practices and new technology.
  • Experience with list segmentation and large data sets.
  • Experience with email testing software (e.g., Email on Acid).
  • Knowledge of Aprimo Project Management Software is a plus.
  • Experience with Claravine is a plus.

For positions based in Woodland Hills, CA, and Jersey City, NJ the base salary range is $73,900-$97,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
