Job Summary
We are seeking a Salesforce Functional Consultant / Lead to maximize the value of our enterprise platform implementations through expert configuration and declarative design. The ideal candidate will translate complex business needs into native platform blueprints, spearhead the technical design of advanced Salesforce configurations, and oversee multi-disciplinary sprint streams to deliver clean, scalable solutions with minimal technical debt.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead functional workstreams and discovery workshops with cross-functional business divisions to map out requirements, analyze platform gaps, and define implementation roadmaps.
- Design and construct advanced declarative solutions using Salesforce Flow Builder, complex validation rules, dynamic form factors, and custom object configurations.
- Architect platform security blueprints, establishing role hierarchies, sharing rules, permission set groups, and restriction policies to ensure strict enterprise data governance.
- Act as the Functional Product Owner during build iterations, translating requirements into concise technical user stories and guiding delivery teams through the development lifecycle.
- Govern native core cloud features across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud to eliminate redundant custom programmatic overhead (Apex/LWC).
- Manage configuration deployment readiness, conducting thorough functional unit testing and leading stakeholder sign-offs during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Drive platform adoption and change management execution, creating technical user guides, functional runbooks, and delivering end-user enablement workshops.
Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of core Salesforce configuration experience, with 4+ dedicated years leading functional tracks or consulting engagements.
- Expert-level mastery of Salesforce Flow Builder, including asynchronous paths, scheduled paths, collection processors, and error-handling exception loops.
- Deep structural knowledge of standard platform optimization strategies, object relationship patterns, and standard CRM application structures.
- Mandatory certification: Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant or Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator or Platform App Builder certification.
- Prior consulting environment experience leading enterprise digital transformation projects with high user-base distributions and complex multi-org footprints.
