Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, growth-minded Engineer I to join our team as a core contributor to ADT’s digital ecosystem. In this role, you will work within established technical guardrails to execute clean, impactful code while expanding your technical capabilities across our Salesforce and integration platforms.
You will adopt and practice modern engineering standards, including Test-Driven Development (TDD), automation, and AI-assisted development. As a member of a cross-functional engineering pod, you will contribute directly to advancing ADT’s Sales and Service Platform, working alongside senior peers across platforms like Salesforce CRM (Sales & Service), CPQ, Billing, and MuleSoft. What You’ll Do:
Technical Execution & Feature Development
Contribute to the end-to-end development and configuration of features across Salesforce CRM (Sales, Service), CPQ / RCA, and MuleSoft APIs.
Translate business and product requirements into scalable, maintainable code.
Learn and apply standard integration patterns to ensure seamless data flow across platforms.
AI-Assisted Engineering
Actively leverage AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Cursor) to accelerate feature delivery and iteratively improve your code quality.
Embrace AI tools to assist in learning new frameworks, troubleshooting bugs, and refactoring code bases
Quality Ownership (Test-Driven Development Model)
Participate in a engineering culture where engineers own quality end-to-end.
Ensure all authored code includes comprehensive automated unit tests and applicable integration tests.
Utilize AI-driven testing tools for test generation, validation, and coverage improvements.
Pod Collaboration & Growth
Operate productively within a cross-functional pod structure, collaborating closely with senior engineers, tech leads, and product owners.
Actively participate in code reviews to receive feedback, absorb engineering best practices, and raise your personal technical bar.
3-5 years of Object-Oriented software development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud including REST APIs.
Basic understanding of CPQ (SteelBrick or RCA).
Basic understanding of MuleSoft or integration patterns.
Exposure to RCA, Experience cloud.
Basic experience or training with MuleSoft API development.
Familiarity with deployment tools, preferably Copado.
Strong collaborative skills with ability to communicate technical updates clearly to the immediate pod team.
A strong sense of curiosity, a desire to learn, and a personal sense of accountability for your deliverables.
Strong interest or early experience in using AI tools for:
Code generation and refactoring

Skills Required
- 3-5 years Object-Oriented software development experience
