Job Description

At NCS, we partner with our clients to transform their businesses. As a Salesforce Developer, you will step into a high-impact, client-facing consulting role where your technical expertise directly shapes the digital future of major enterprises. You will lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance Salesforce solutions, working hand-in-hand with cross-functional teams to ensure every line of code aligns with overarching business goals.

This isn’t a "behind the scenes" coding job. You will be at the forefront of technical design sessions, translating complex business requirements into robust, enterprise-grade architectures. From developing custom Apex classes and Lightning Web Components (LWC) to orchestrating seamless system integrations via REST/SOAP APIs, you will maintain the highest standards of code quality. Beyond the technical execution, you will play a pivotal role in the growth of our practice by mentoring junior developers and ensuring our solutions remain innovative, maintainable, and world-class.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should be a problem-solver who thrives in the fast-paced environment of professional services. We are looking for a consultant who can bridge the gap between technical complexity and business value.

Technical Expertise:

  • Experience: Extensive hands-on Salesforce development under your belt.

  • Core Skills: Expert-level proficiency in Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, and Flows.

  • Platform Knowledge: A deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, security, and the full development lifecycle.

  • Integrations: Proven experience connecting Salesforce with external systems using APIs and middleware.

  • Certifications: You must hold a Platform Developer I certification (PDII is a major plus).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with modern DevOps practices, including CI/CD tools and version control (Git/Bitbucket).

  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • Specialized knowledge in Sales, Service, Marketing, or Experience Clouds.

The "Consultant" Mindset:

  • Communication: You can explain "the why" behind a technical decision to a non-technical stakeholder with clarity and confidence.

  • Autonomy: You are self-motivated and capable of leading a project workstream independently while remaining a collaborative team player.

  • Quality Focused: You have a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to delivering clean, maintainable, and documented code.
