Dynatrace is seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer/Salesforce Developer driven to deliver high-quality solutions to drive successful outcomes. As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to design, develop, and implement Salesforce applications that leverage Sales Cloud capabilities. If you're an expert in Apex, Lightning web Components, and integrations with external systems, we want to hear from you.

As a Senior Salesforce/Salesforce Developer, you will be responsible for various projects including: Sales cloud development, maintenance of CPQ and Billing implementation and driving a seamless Quote-to-Cash business process.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, customize, and maintain Salesforce applications with a focus on Sales Cloud
  • Configure/build new and enhanced functionality in the Salesforce platform using declarative and/or programmatic solutions
  • Customize/build Salesforce sales Cloud applications using custom objects, flows, validations, and formulas while adhering to Salesforce best practices
  • Develop and maintain Apex Classes, Triggers, Lightning Components, and Flows
  • Participate in the design process of integrations from Salesforce with external applications and third-party services
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce performance, functionality, and integrations
  • Ensure adherence to best practices, security guidelines, and coding standards
  • Participate in unit testing, code reviews, and deployment activities
  • Actively participate/lead demos and reviews with team (as needed)
  • Follow Agile software development methodology and team architecture standards
  • Participate in design, code reviews, test inspections throughout life cycle to identify issues/defects and provide technical feedback as required
  • Design, code, test, troubleshoot, debug and document solutions throughout the development process and across the Salesforce platform including CPQ, Billing, Force.com and various managed packages
What will help you succeed

Required Skills

  • Must have 3+ years experience for our Salesforce Developer level position, or 5+ years of experience for a Senior Salesforce Developer role configuring and building Salesforce solutions
  • Salesforce CPQ development experience will be well regarded
  • Strong expertise in Salesforce Apex based development
  • Proficiency in Apex, SOQL, SOSL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flows
  • Experience with Salesforce REST and SOAP APIs, platform events, and integration patterns
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and development best practices
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with JIRA, Confluence, or other project tracking tools
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Security, Profiles, Roles, Permission Sets, and Sharing rules
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or software Engineering or equivalent is preferred

Valuable Skills

  • Knowledge of other Salesforce clouds like Service Cloud, Experience Cloud
  • Preferred Certifications: Salesforce Platform Developer I or II, Sales Cloud Consultant Certification
  • Utilize Agentforce / Agent Builder to define agent behaviors, topics and actions including customization with Flows, Apex, and Prompt Templates
  • Prior experience with Boomi, or other integration platforms
