Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and other Salesforce products, for an Org with around 1100+ users.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to understand the requirements and translate them into technical designs to ensure quality and alignment with enterprise standards.
- Ensure that technical documentation is created and updated for the operational and technical support of the CRM applications.
- Be an advocate of the system on behalf of the SF team and positively promote the system to the wider user community to aid Salesforce Adoption.
- Design and develop custom integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST APIs, Apex and other Integration tools.
- Provide production support, troubleshooting, and resolution for live systems to ensure high availability.
- Stay updated on Salesforce platform enhancements and industry trends to guide long-term strategies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 4 – 5 years of experience as Salesforce Developer.
- Strong experience with Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud and its underlying data model, standard objects, and functional capabilities.
- Strong proficiency with Salesforce Flow (preferred over Process Builder/Workflow Rules).
- Hands on work experience in Apex programming, Triggers, SOQL/SOSL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Aura Components.
- Experience in Integrations using Salesforce APIs to integrate with other systems, including legacy system.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills to design scalable and efficient solutions.
- Understanding of Salesforce architecture patterns, governor limits, and security models.
- Actively participates in design reviews, code reviews, and performance optimisation—implement best practices for Apex, LWC, and SOQL tuning.
- Understanding of agile development methods and tools like Jira.
- Ability to work independently while being an active collaborator with strong technical skills, excellent communication and a problem-solving mindset.
- Comfortable with shifting priorities and managing multiple deliverables.
- Strong self-management skills and the ability to launch new initiatives to improve processes.
Nice to have:
- Certifications – Salesforce Platform Developer 1 is required. PD2 / Sales Cloud Consultant / Service Cloud Consultant is desirable.
- Basic understanding of DevOps tools for Salesforce (CI/CD tools like Copado, Bitbucket etc.)
