  Salesforce is seeking a talented and experienced software engineer who is energetic, highly collaborative, and a passionate developer looking to join our internal Salesforce Platform development team. As a software engineer, you will specialize in building responsive designs for scale and performance on top of the Salesforce Platform on the latest releases with instant feedback from thousands of internal users. We drive our product by the user experience and need someone with the skills and passion that can push the vision forward.   Your Impact

  • Develop, test, and deliver highly scalable products. Master our development process, culture, and code base, then improve upon it.

  • Work closely with a team of engineers, product managers, and user experience experts to build worldclass features our internal Salesforce users will rely upon for their day-to-day responsibilities.

  • Update software or enhance existing software capabilities.

  • Operate effectively in the hybrid engineering model where engineers are expected to be able to design and complete the necessary work to ensure quality in their own code as well as other engineers.

  Experience/Skills Required

  • 5+ years of experience programming on the Salesforce platform (Apex, LWC, Aura and Visualforce)

  • Experience with one or more Salesforce API’s (REST, Bulk, SOAP, Platform Events, Streaming etc)

  • Extensive understanding of Object Oriented (OO) design patterns such as MVC

  • Extensive understanding of HTML and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)

  • 2+ years experience with JavaScript (JS)

  • Expertise with relational database languages (SQL or SOQL)

  • Experience with data modeling design

  • Deep understanding of web standards & technologies (ex. HTTP, REST and JSON).

  • Ability to learn quickly and be a self-starter

  • Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment

  • Experience developing in an enterprise environment such as source code control, continuous deployment, release management

  Experience/Skills Desired

  • Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodology

  • Experience building Mulesoft data solutions/integrations

  • Data visualization experience using Tableau

  • Experience creating unified data solutions utilziiung the Salesforce Data Cloud

  • Experience with Salesforce DX

  • Experience in building LWC components

  • Certifications in Salesforce Platform and/or Java
