We are looking for a Solution Analyst to support our Commercial Systems and Business Intelligence landscape. This role is part of the Global Applications team and focuses primarily on Salesforce and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate), while also contributing to BI and data-related initiatives.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, IT colleagues, and external partners to analyze needs, design functional solutions, and ensure successful implementation. The position covers the full functional lifecycle — from gathering and refining requirements to coordinating vendors, testing, and supporting go-live activities.
The role plays a key part in ensuring that commercial system enhancements are aligned with business priorities, application roadmaps, and IT governance standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Analysis & Solution Design- Partner with business stakeholders to collect, clarify, and challenge requirements related to Salesforce and Power Platform solutions.
- Convert business needs into structured functional specifications and solution designs for implementation by internal teams or third-party vendors.
- Review current processes and system usage to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
- Contribute to data integration and business intelligence initiatives where relevant.
- Ensure proposed solutions are aligned with architectural guidelines, IT standards, and application roadmaps.
- Collaborate closely with team members, sharing knowledge and supporting during high-demand periods.
- Support planning and execution of system enhancements, including functional design, testing coordination, documentation, and release activities.
- Serve as the main functional contact for external vendors to ensure accurate understanding and delivery of requirements.
- Assist with system configuration, user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment activities across Salesforce and Power Platform.
- Contribute to change management efforts, including user communication, documentation updates, and adoption support.
- Provide day-to-day functional support for Salesforce and Power Platform applications.
- Investigate issues, coordinate fixes, and implement minor enhancements.
- Monitor application performance, data integrity, and functional stability in collaboration with IT and vendors.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation, configuration records, and operational procedures.
- Identify opportunities to enhance usability, automate manual tasks, and optimize existing processes.
- Contribute to roadmap planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build trusted relationships with business users and act as a functional advisor for commercial systems and automation topics.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Facilitate workshops, requirement sessions, and solution reviews.
- Coordinate across business, IT, and external partners to ensure timely and aligned delivery.
- Ensure adherence to internal governance, documentation standards, and IT/security policies.
Requirements
- Solid experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst or Functional Analyst, including requirements gathering, solution design, and enhancement implementation.
- Practical experience with Salesforce administration (configuration, user setup, troubleshooting). Certification is a plus but not required.
- Experience translating business processes into structured functional documentation for vendor delivery.
- Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform, especially Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Understanding of data integration principles and how data flows between upstream systems, Salesforce, and reporting/analytics platforms.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and solution quality.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with business users, IT teams, and external partners.
- Team-oriented approach with willingness to support shared objectives.
- Fluency in English; French and/or Czech is considered an advantage.
- Salesforce certifications or formal training.
- Experience with Power BI (report validation, requirement support, testing).
- Broader exposure to workflow automation or low-code tools.
- Experience with DocuSign.
- Basic understanding of BI concepts such as data models, semantic layers, and reporting structures.
- Experience within pharmaceutical or life sciences environments.
