We are looking for a remote Vice President of Sales as an analytical sales leader with the ability to drive overall sales growth within the RIOS organization. Desirable candidates will have sales leadership experience, industry contacts, and domain knowledge of robotics and automation in one or more of the following key industries: manufacturing, logistics, material handling, e-commerce, food production/processing, or similar.

This position may be remote and is anticipated to have 50% travel. Candidates with a SaaS (Software as a Service) background are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop sales plans and strategies to meet and exceed company sales goals
  • Lead sales team and sales operations
  • Develop sales team mentorship and training programs to ensure success of all team members
  • Strategically set quarterly and annual sales targets, guiding the sales team in achieving sales goals
  • Identify sales process improvements within the organization
  • Prepare and present sales reports, providing constant feedback to the company leadership
  • Monitor all sales and market activity to provide detailed sales forecasting
  • Outline and actively manage sales budget
  • Establish key customer relationships

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7+ years of strong sales leadership experience in automation, robotics, or selling SaaS (Software as a Service) products
  • Proven record of sales growth year over year and successful sales team management within a dynamic organization
  • Established record of success in organizational sales team leadership and mentorship
  • In depth knowledge of sales strategies and techniques
  • Outstanding strategic planning, analytical, and forecasting skills
  • Deep knowledge of the market and competitors in manufacturing environments, warehouses, e-commerce, etc.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and customer service skills
  • Passion for sales growth and leadership in fast-paced, cross-functional environment
