About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Partnerships professional  to join our Enterprise sales team, within our Distribution organization. This role will be responsible for identifying, evaluating and developing innovative distribution partnerships across new verticals to help us extend our products to more customers and achieve our next stage of growth.

This individual will have experience working across functions and with multiple stakeholders to drive product development and business growth. This is a great role for someone who is a driven self-starter, refuses to take no for an answer, is comfortable with ambiguity and iterating, is collaborative and wants to be part of a newly formed team at the forefront of insurance distribution


Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, negotiate and execute strategic distribution partnerships across new enterprise channels
  • Build leadership-level relationships with prospective partners and gain buy in across their organization
  • Conduct in-depth discovery processes to understand and prioritize partner needs and define optimal solutions
  • Utilize market intel and partner feedback to inform product roadmap and integration capabilities
  • Develop and execute detailed partner growth plans with aggressive targets
  • Define, prioritize and execute key initiatives
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration and alignment across product, legal, and finance
  • Have the intellectual horsepower to think through and address competing priorities in parallel

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of business development or strategic partnerships experience at a high-growth B2C or B2B2C tech company
  • Hunter mentality with an ability to cultivate and grow net new relationships from scratch
  • Desire and ability to take initiative, comfort with ambiguity, and a bias towards action
  • Creative thinker and deal maker. Experience with distribution partnerships strongly preferred
  • Highly driven, with an ability to successfully work independently

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with product partnerships and API integrations
  • Familiarity with building business cases to help with opportunity sizing and resource prioritization
  • Prior experience in FinTech, Insurtech, or PropTech or other large-scale digital consumer channels
