Job Summary:Disney Advertising Sales drives the advertising revenue across platforms for the entire media portfolio – including ABC, ESPN, Hulu, Freeform, FX, National Geographic, Disney Channels Worldwide, and more. The Sales Enablement teams mission is to provide unified client service experience with ease and automation to more effectively drive revenue.
Disney Ad Sales (DAS) Sales Enablement team is responsible for providing a unified client service experience with ease and automation to more effectively drive revenue. This role is responsible for representing the Sales Organization’s needs for the Disney Advertising Sales Digital Business Center. This encompasses oversight of how the Sales team will utilize our Digital Toolset across Planning, Order Management, Ad Serving, and Measurement.
The successful candidate acts as a partner and consultant with the Ad Platforms teams, ensuring DAS has the right blend of nimble and core solutions that enhance revenue, manage scale and extend our audience.
Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and better utilization of current toolsets to drive additional revenue or support operational efficiencies.
  • This critical role is the Addressable central point of contact for Ad Platforms and across the entire DAS teams.
  • Build strong relationships and unify teams both in and outside of DAS in order to drive consistency in prioritization and support.
  • The scope includes, but is not limited to, driving the strategy behind current core platform functionality, representing internal and 3rd party sales order management, and ad serving platforms, yield and inventory management and forecasting, ad targeting, scheduling, delivery and tracking, and campaign reporting and analysis.
  • The candidate should have experience in System Migrations planning, delivery and training across large sales organizations with complex system structures.
  • The successful candidate has a deep, practical understanding of the digital advertising industry and brand advertising in particular; is customer focused and highly motivated, dedicated self-starter with a successful track record of implementing product strategy; superior project management, communication and analytical skills; and a personal persuasiveness that enables him or her to impact key executive decisions.


Basic Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in Advertising Operations and/or Sales Enablement
  • 4+ years of Sales Enablement Experience impacting business needs, tech prioritization, Change Management, Process and Training
  • 4+ years of people management experience, ideally Advertising Operations for a large media company
  • Proven track record of owning and executing deliverables that impact multiple parts of the business
  • Strong experience in risk assessment associated with system migrations including proprietary and 3rd party vendors
  • Fluent or very familiar with all aspects of Addressable media within the advertising business
  • Highly skilled at relationship building at multilevel levels of leadership, across a wide span of functions
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills – written, visual, and verbal presentations that resonate with a variety of audiences across the business and seniority
  • Knowledge of Order Management and Ad Serving platforms, CRM tools as well as Billing, Invoicing, and 3rd Party verification partners
  • BA or BS with a Business / Technology focus quantitative field (Business, Math/Statistics, Economics, CS, Engineering, or similar) is desired
