Job Description

The Senior Account Executive is an event specialist and local market expert. You will oversee the pre to post event responsibilities, from planning and preparation, to execution and reporting. Event elements will often include staffing, product sampling, consumer engagement, asset transportation, POS coordination, and production. This role will report into the Regional Director. 

The Senior Account Executive is a role that requires close collaboration with cross business counterpoints and serves as client contact. We ask that you have prior sampling event and production experience. 

You Will: 

  • Oversee local event performance and execution excellence 
  • Ongoing recruitment and hiring of brand ambassadors and event specialists for sampling events 
  • Motivate and manage teams of brand ambassadors and event specialists on a daily basis 
  • Staff specialists and BA’s for sampling and special events through company staffing application 
  • Ensure staff are trained and prepared to implement events 
  • POS and assets are available, ready, and working before each event 
  • Use a creative eye to bring brands to life through experiential events
  • Audit events to ensure executional excellence and compliance with state sampling laws and local regulations
  • Manage cross agency and in-market communications 
  • Follow standard operating procedures, policies, and protocols for issue resolution 
  • Communicate and socialize success, insights, and opportunities 
  • Report and recap data and insights for real-time measurement & evaluation
  • Be content minded and able to manage social media channel(s) to amplify events and event execution
  • Manage local warehousing with POS and special event assets 
  • Approve and submits staffing payroll and expenses 
  • Serve as local contact for clients and key local partners 

Qualifications

You Have: 

  • 6+ years of experience in event management 
  • Budget management skills 
  • Knowledge of wine and spirits industry 
  • Effectively source candidates to ensure a match to the position/organization 
  • Proficient in Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), Keynote, PowerPoint
