We’re looking for a remote Sales Manager, Affiliate to support our rapidly growing team. The ideal candidate will creatively solve problems ranging from team motivation to enabling best-in-class sales methodologies across the organization. They’ll be driving growth by managing the day-to-day operations of our Direct Affiliate Partnership (DAP) sales team. They’ll be constantly learning about how Brainjolt can bring value to our partner clients. They’ll be radically candid in working with the team to drive results, always providing continuous feedback. They’ll own the process of managing the sales team to ensure they have everything they need to succeed in meeting their sales goals.

Intrinsically, you understand how the internet is rapidly growing and evolving. You’ll spend many of your days continuing to operationalize our sales process. Other days, you’ll be contributing creative ideas to drive lead generation. Sales growth doesn’t fall solely on your shoulders, but you will be a critical part of it. You will:

  • Manage the day-to-day activities and performance of the Direct Affiliate Partnership (DAP) sales team
  • Inspire and develop your team through motivation, coaching and program offering knowledge and training
  • Coordinate with the Marketing team to develop and execute ideas to grow lead generation
  • Understand our ideal customers and how they get value from our offerings
  • Set individual sales targets with the sales team and support them in meeting business goals
  • Own sales data and manage the CRM in order to routinely report on sales activity as well as forecasting in real time
  • Track sales goals and provide regular reporting to the VP of Business Development

You should be ready to:

  • Build and motivate a collaborative team of Sales Development Representatives
  • Oversee the sales team to ensure quotas and standards are met by holding check-ins with team to set objectives and monitor progress regularly
  • Build new processes and bring best practices as this team is rapidly developing
  • Lead by example, bringing your own innate sales skills to your team and remove obstacles to enable them to do their best work
  • Manage the escalation of issues within the sales function, representing the needs of the team and advocating for improvements to operational processes
