Our Validus platform is easy to deploy, customize and operate across equities, options, futures, foreign exchange (FX), fixed income, and digital asset markets.

Eventus is experiencing rapid growth and as we continue to expand, we are seeking a senior individual who is laser focused on product growth and expansion to join our dynamic and growing Sales team as Director Sales, APAC.  This is a chance for an ambitious and driven individual to leverage their networks to deliver top line growth and acquire market share.  

The successful Sales Director will drive revenue growth within the APAC region, generating a pipeline, presenting solutions, creating
proposals and closing business. While the primary focus will be on generating revenue in APAC, having a global network in futures
and equities is preferred. Experience working with capital markets firms in APAC required.

 

We are only considering candidates who currently reside in Singapore.

 

Job Duties
• Meet/exceed revenue growth targets within primary region and assist global sales staff in secondary region(s).
• Collaborate with appropriate team members to determine necessary strategic sales approaches.
• Provide prompt feedback to Product Management and Sales Management with regard to client and prospect product feedback.
• Maintain and expand the company’s CRM.
• Where necessary, support marketing efforts such as trade shows, exhibits, and other events.
• Appropriately communicate value proposition and company brand.
• Understand customer requirements and leverage teammates to have relevant technical planning sessions.
• Successfully drive pipeline, revenue and sales goals through effective management of partner engagements and team selling.
• Manage complex contract negotiations and liaison with the Legal team.
• Develop and maintain key account plans that identify opportunities for Eventus Systems to deliver value, strategic motivators, main stakeholders, buying processes and forecasted sales.
• Provide feedback to company management on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and opportunities to deliver greater
value to customers by extending company offerings.

 

Requirements:
• University or college degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Strong knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
• Exposure to global equities, equity options, futures, FX, Fixed Income and/or Digital Assets.
• 15+ years enterprise sales experience in financial markets.
• Strong verbal and written communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent collaborator, with an ability to work with virtual teams.  
• Experience building successful relationships and negotiating with business leaders, especially the C-Suite.
• Skilled at working with technical teams through complex solution sales. 
• Good understanding of technology.
• Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
• Ability to regularly travel and attend sales events or exhibits.
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
• High level of integrity and work ethic.
• Experience with CRM software.
