Our sales team is growing, and we are looking for a Pre-sale Engineering (Product Experts) leader.
As the Regional Pre-Sales Engineering Director at monday.com, you’ll play a critical role in helping our prospects visualize the value of our platform. Through your deep product knowledge, expertise in how companies use and deploy SaaS applications, and objection handling in customer interactions, you’ll support our sales team with the sales processes.
We are looking at experienced individuals who would establish the team’s methodologies and streamline our pre-sales processes. You’ll be a strategic member of our sales leadership team, working closely with Sales, Product, Partners, and Customer Success.
About The Role:
- You will actively participate in the recruitment efforts to create multiple teams of Pre-Sales Engineers, supporting our sales growth.
- Partner cross-functionally with the Sales, Product, Marketing, Enablement, Partners, and Revenue Strategy leadership to develop new initiatives and processes.
- Continue building a team of Pre-Sales Engineering managers to support your initiatives and make up the department.
- Act as an executive sponsor for the most significant opportunity engagements in the company.
- Play a key role in enabling the subsequent phases of our hyper-growth.
- Help the team manage POCs and create new ways to solve customer pains through our monday apps developer framework.
- 5+ years in a Pre-Sales Engineering managerial role in a SaaS environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Deep understanding of software/SaaS buying processes
- Someone who can work with very diverse departments and personas.
- Ability to articulate technical topics to technical and non-technical audiences alike
- Technical curiosity for how work systems operate
- Project management or CRM experience - an advantage
- Proof of concept creation and management
- Experience creating software products - an edge.
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
- Hands-on experience development or testing with JSON and RESTful APIs
- Understanding of GraphQL - an advantage
- Ability to articulate technical topics to a non-technical audience
- Business process mapping skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Experience responding to technical questions and security requirements from customers
- Exceptional teamwork capabilities
