Our Troy, OH Wheel & Brake team has an opportunity for a Customer Account Manager. In this role the "CAM" will support the business relationship with the contracted OE's. A background in supply chain, warehouse management and scheduling is highly beneficial for this role.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. The candidate will primarily work remotely; however, they will need to be based within a commutable distance from Troy, OH to be available to come to the site on short notice. Short notice may require the employee to be onsite within the same business day.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage assigned customer accounts, conferring with customers who contact the organization by telephone or electronically.
  • Provide information about products or services, enter customer orders, discuss customer accounts, and obtain and address customer complaints.
  • Maintain a customer-first business mentality.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple Customer requests and inquiries efficiently.
  • Ensure that all customer requests are handled with the utmost professionalism and within a timely manner.
  • Proactively support Customer programs working closely with Value Stream Leader to understand forecast, metrics, and operations schedule to ensure alignment with, and timely delivery to OE Customers.
  • Lead coordination with necessary departments to solve customer inquiries and drive to a satisfactory resolution.
  • Work closely with production, sales, shipping, warehouse, or other personnel to expedite or trace shipments.
  • Engage the customer to gain intel on the customer requirements and drivers to assist in forecasting, customer on-going support, and shipping performance.
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement efforts.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR
  • Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience OR
  • In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required
  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident "Green Card" holder


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to problem-solve and prioritize multiple deliverables autonomously
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the supply chain process in a warehouse environment
  • Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to remain composed and decisive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including executives
  • Demonstrated experience in SAP and Excel
  • Working knowledge of master production schedule based on demand, lead time, capacity constraints, inventory strategies, and materials availability
