About the Role
The Pharmacy Account Executive, manages select pharmacy accounts and will be focused on establishing and maintaining prices within the pharmacy market, sales and implementation of products and services with pharmacy portfolio and be a key internal stakeholder in product and service build-out . It will also include quarterly business reviews, price management, escalated issue resolution, acting as pharmacy SME and consultative services for pharmacies and internal partners.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manages ongoing contract relationships, pricing, and service delivery with pharmacies
- Acts as outward - facing, dedicated resource for assigned pharmacies with direct contact
- Builds relationships with pharmacy accounts
- Represents pharmacies internally and coordinates with other functions to implement systems, complete projects, and address ongoing service needs
- Travels to pharmacy to provide consultative price recommendations, product/service demonstrations aligning internal needs
- Analyzes reports to determine pharmacy trends, recommendations, and implements programs appropriate for the pharmacy
- Works with other departments to develop operational solutions and recommendations
- Sells the pharmacy value proposition to internal partners and external clients
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent years of experience
- 2+ years of experience in a retail pharmacy setting or health care benefits
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
- Ability to multitask to resolution/completion
- Lead and develop others within a team environment
- Ability to problem solve/formulate solutions from experience or research
- Presentation skills
