Position Summary:

The National Account Manager will be responsible for selling all Provation solutions and services into strategic Integrated Delivery Networks (IDN's). This individual will be responsible for growing revenue by building a relationship with key contacts and becoming a trusted advisor. They will have accountability for maintaining an on-going account strategy, negotiating corporate contracts, and creating a top down and bottom up sales approach. They will need to have the ability to partner with the field sales team and marketing as they coordinate selling opportunities and strategies across the IDN.

Position Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Strong industry and IDN specific knowledge
  • Understand the corporate key drivers
  • Proven ability to understand enterprise challenges and provide solutions
  • Listen to and understand the needs of the client/prospective client
  • Identify, define, and successfully navigating complex C-Level sales processes including CEO, COO, CNO, CFO, CMIO, and service line executives
  • Accurately manage forecasts, pipelines, and predictability for revenue
  • Successfully manage the sales cycle of the lead-to-close process.
  • Help customers understand their business strategy and realize their goals by leveraging Provation solutions as part of their plans.
  • Always exude professional behavior and maintain a professional appearance. The individual may be exposed to a variety of prospective customer audiences which may include executive level members, physicians, nurses, IT personnel, HIM departments and other healthcare professionals
  • Partner closely with other sales and marketing team members to generate knowledge sharing tools and transfer knowledge based on market trends and customer engagements


Position Requirements:

Education & Experience

  • 4-year degree
  • Minimum of 10 years in the healthcare industry
  • Proven success negotiating large complex IDN contracts
  • Existing C-Suite relationships with IDN's preferred


Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:

  • Ability to travel 50-75%
  • Demonstrated:
    • Written, listening, and verbal communication skills required
    • Presentation skills required
    • Relationship-building skills both as part of a sales team and with prospective clients
  • Ability to multi-task and respond expeditiously to sales team members and prospective client requests
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • High attention to detail, with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
