Job description

Job Overview
Develops our hospital business (technology, services and information), providing the product expertise and sales acumen to identify and qualify revenue opportunities, proactively manage the selling process and close the sales in both existing and new accounts. Responsible for multiple large and mid-sized accounts based upon geography.

Essential Functions• Ensures the quarterly and full year revenue targets are met for assigned group of accounts through a consultative sales approach that solves client business issues.• Interfaces with customer at all levels.• Creates and presents client proposals that result in winning sales.• As necessary, identifies and manages resources to develop proposals that position IQVIA capabilities and solutions to customers.• Takes proactive role in contract negociations.• Develops strategy for expanding scope in existing customers and identifying new business opportunities.• Develops relationships with key executives and decision makers within assigned accounts.• Manages the overall relationship to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction with technology/services/information offerings.• Provides leadership to the team working on the assigned accounts and coordinates the involvement of IQVIA resources (marketing, project managers, business consultants, development, support and management, ).• Adjusts account strategy accordingly to consider new IQVIA offerings as well as significant changes to business conditions.

Qualifications• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required with a minimum of five (5) years relevant account and sales management experience and/or solution sales management experience (preferred).• Extensive knowledge of customer account management, solution selling, software & services selling and preferable also the hospital segment.• Account Development Skills• Account Management Skills• Analytical Skills• Communication Skills• Influence Outcomes• Market Research Knowledge• Marketplace and Industry Knowledge• Negotiating Skills• Organizational Skills• Planning Skills• Presentation Skills• Problem Solving Skills• Relationship Building Skills• Servicing Skills• Team Orientation• Vision and Direction
