Description

The Manager of Sales oversees our internal sales teams, focusing on regionally aligned named accounts. This role will manage sales activities in a specific region achieving/exceeding business goals. Additionally, responsible for leading the teams to achieve and exceed their product and territory set sales goals and metrics. business and territory development, strategy execution while providing coaching, experience sharing, and leadership for other sales management responsibilities to create leverage for and as specified by the SVP of Sales.

Job Responsibilities

  • Drive team's' sales activities to achieve established production targets and goals for the assigned sales positions within the sales region
  • Work with the teams to be strategic by pursuing sales opportunities via existing channels and markets
  • Leverage use of the existing customer relationships to drive additional revenues from existing accounts
  • Work with sales teams to successfully execute sales call strategies and create new ways to achieve or exceed growth through new business, renewal retention, and selling to existing accounts
  • Accurately forecast the assigned territory's monthly, quarterly, and yearly revenue sales production
  • Work closely with Sales Enablement, Marketing, Product and Legal to ensure programs, campaigns and procedures are optimized to drive sales
  • Work w/ Inside Sales Managers to hit their target goals
  • the company's stipulated growth goals.
  • Train, mentor, manage Inside Sales Managers to follow our proven articulated sales processes and approach
  • Build sales teams by interviewing and hiring additional sales team members, as necessary.
  • Work w/ SVP of Sales to effectively manage sales teams with via reporting to measure and monitor how they perform relative to their goals.
  • Establish complete visibility into all activity and metrics such as conversion and then work to help improve the metrics and conversion of the lower producers.
  • Conduct individual meetings with each sales team member to review current state and quarterly reviews for goals and additional projects in place.
  • Hold weekly pipeline reviews with each team to track activity, revenue, and projected revenue, then report to SVP of Sales. Based on the results of meetings, develop action plans with staff to maintain and increase activity and revenue goals set for each team.
  • Partner with Sales Enablement role who works with product, marketing, and sales to educate your sales team and provide approved content to survey, presell, and sell new products and updates.
  • Build an open communication environment for the team
  • Collaborate with Business Development Management to effectively own, qualify, develop, and close sales opportunities, as well as to follow eMoney's sales process
  • Maintains and enhance professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks
  • Keep a close eye on the sales activities of competitors and utilizing ideas where appropriate
  • Contribute actively to on-going informal and formal dialogue and feedback processes with Product, Marketing, Technology, Client Service and Training to advance the product and service roadmap
  • Other duties as assigned



Requirements

  • Financial Services/Financial Technology Sales experience
  • Comfortable in a high-paced dynamic environment
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience required
  • Minimum 5-7 years of sales experience as an individual contributor
  • 2-3 years sales management preferred



Skills

  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and sales automation tools
  • Advanced Microsoft Office and other collaboration software skills
  • Familiar with the following Sales Tech Stack tools
    • Seismic, Customer Engagement Tools, (e.g., Outreach/Sales Loft), Gong
  • Understands Sales Methodologies such as Sandler Training
  • Self-starter able to operate in an entrepreneurial environment that rewards the ability to successfully set and achieve goals, execute plans and work with customers and the company's management team
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to work across all departments, developing and managing constructive relationships internally and externally
  • Strong leadership skills and team orientation
  • Demonstrate grace under pressure
  • Demonstrated experience in sales development, business plan execution, and achieving/exceeding sales goals


The salary range for this position is $76,000 - $113,000; commensurate salary to be determined based on skills, professional background and expertise. This position is eligible for the eMoney sales commission program.
