Job Summary:

This is a quota-carrying remote seller that is responsible for selling Fujifilm Sonosite products into hospitals, as well as other account types, within an assigned geographic territory. This telesales role works to identify and close sales opportunities within both new and existing accounts. After closing business, Inside Sales Representatives are responsible for ensuring a positive ongoing customer experience and identifying potential for upsell/cross-sell opportunities within these customers.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Meet annual sales quota
  • Identify new business opportunities in hospitals and other accounts in assigned territory through a mix of qualified leads provided by the Business Development and/or Marketing teams and self-generated leads. Once lead is qualified, meet remotely with prospect to further understand need and establish relationship
  • Close business in both new and existing customers by persuading users, departments, and institutions of the value of Fujifilm Sonosite's hand carried compact ultrasound systems and tools
  • Work with Clinical Application Specialist in assigned territory to demonstrate Fujifilm Sonosite's products in the field, when needed
  • Ensure positive ongoing customer experience after closing deal by checking in consistently to confirm customer understanding and adoption of Fujifilm Sonosite product(s)
  • Determine potential for upsell/cross-sell opportunities in existing customers within assigned territory
  • Maximize the number of units sold operating within a predetermined pricing and clinical market segment "box"
  • Guide internal Fujifilm Sonosite resources on maximizing the delivery of value and eliminating all wasteful activities that do not add value to customers
  • Manage relationships with key physicians and key influencing hospitals within the territory.
  • Actively manage new and existing client relationships via Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool, keeping the CRM updated with all pertinent customer information and sales activities



Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and work history
  • Experience with a Medical sales approach preferred
  • Minimum two years documented sales success or equivalent experience, preferably in business to business products



Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong Salesforce.com skillset
  • Adept at listening and articulating in both oral and written communication
  • Excellence in process management and organizational ability
  • Knowledge of the medical supplies/device business and healthcare environment
