The Portfolio Manager provides support for creating, sustaining, implementing, and driving efficient and effective project portfolio management processes in support of business objectives. The Portfolio Manager will be responsible for establishing and supporting new processes and will provide analysis and reporting on multiple areas of the portfolio. He/she will collaborate with leaders and stakeholders from technology, business and finance to ensure proper coordination and execution of activities related to the delivery of technology projects. You will play an integral role in building a project portfolio management (PPM) center of excellence in technology. The position requires significant interaction with cross-functional departments within the company and strong relationship management skills to influence and resolve issues.

Responsibilities :
- Develop reporting and tracking of projects in the portfolio
- Assist with process improvement implementation including building out documentation, training, and required reporting
- Assist with project evaluation cross-functionally and provide leadership with sound timing and approval recommendations considering resource requirements, durations, and competencies required to execute the portfolio
- Provide business analytics, data gathering, and metrics to form statistically confident projections that provide insights into portfolio performance
- Create presentation packages for team and manager review
- Support program and project management teams across the organization
- Collaborate with product, technology, business, and finance teams on analysis of in-flight and proposed projects
- Assist with training, communicating, reporting and driving accurate time-tracking across the organization. Enhance the process and reporting to ensure accuracy and quality of data.
- Perform Portfolio Management functions, project sequencing and analysis to optimize the project portfolio while minimizing constraints
- Facilitate and/or support coordination for project efforts that span across teams
- Manage portfolio via PPM tool sets (Clarizen) and reports
- Promote IT framework, governance, and processes
- Assist with and own completion of special projects
- Deliver on ad-hoc requests as required
Basic Qualifications :
- Experience supporting a portfolio with multiple stakeholders
- Experience with reporting and visualization tools
- Experience with a PPM tool
- Experience compiling data and building reports/dashboards
- Ability to present materials to leadership to tell a compelling story. Must also communicate effectively across multiple levels of the organization including managing through cross-business units.
- Strong critical thinking, problem solving analytical capabilities with strong attention to detail
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite and possess solid technical skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Institute (PMI) certifications desired: Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP) and/or Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Five+ years combined IT experience in portfolio management preferred
