Who You'll Work With:
We manufacture one of the world's most extensive portfolios of connected products, including: Data Centre, PCs, tablets, smartphones, and workstations; as well as augmented and virtual reality, smart home office solutions, software, and services. In this role you will be supporting both our Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) and our Intelligent Device Group (IDG) covering our robust portfolio ranging from the Data Centre to PC's, workstations, OEM, IoT, Smart Collaboration, Vertical Solutions, Gaming, visuals, AR/VR, AI, Internet of Things (IoT), and as-a-service solutions.

What You'll Do...
The U.S. Commercial Accessories and Visuals Distribution Business Development Manager (BDM) is a critical role for Lenovo. This individual contributor
role is primarily responsible for driving the overall sales out activities required to achieve quarterly budgeted sales and profit plans for the Commercial Accessories and
Visuals categories through our U.S. Channel Distribution partners.
This position interfaces and coordinates with Sales and Category teams to synchronize programs and campaign plans at the Distribution partner level designed to
drive growth in Accessories and Visuals across the Business Partner Channel for both Relationship and SMB customers. The position is charged with engaging with the Lenovo
Distribution Sales team and partners to provide sales support and enablement required to create new sales opportunities.
Responsibilities include collaboration with Lenovo Distribution Partners to drive sales out execution plans as well as leveraging inventory levels and programs to achieve targets.
The position is entrusted to develop and maintain professional relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, including supporting select partner facing meetings.
Responsibilities also include contributing to other business strategy and operational initiatives. The focus areas for this role will be:
1. Responsible for developing and implementing sales out activities for Accessories and Visuals
2. Working with multiple sales teams across business segments to manage and enable these sell out activities.
3. Build relationships and provide dedicated support to business partner category specialists across Accessories and Visuals.
4. Participate in regular business unit planning meetings within the partner account.
5. Competitive pricing analysis and review to determine actions required to achieve business targets.
Responsibilities:• Key metric execution and review for business partners (Key market trends, PFV strategy, supply updates, Market share)• Implementation of campaign planning and coordination of all sell-out activities• Dedicated sales account management and provide sales enablement to the Distribution partners across multiple segments• Coordinate with sales and category teams to sync programs and campaign plans at a partner level• Support channel sales managers to support sell-through goals
Requirements:

  • 3 - 5 years of sales experience in a dynamic and transforming channel sales environment
  • Solutions industry knowledge across commercial accessories and visual distribution is preferred
  • Breadth & Depth of understanding of channel/distribution sales and channel programs
  • Extensive experience with channel partners, service providers, or end-customer dynamics in a dynamic technology environment
  • Strong interpersonal; communication; presentation, deal management and negotiation skills
  • Superior customer engagement skills with a strong focus on new business development
  • BA required
