Director of Business Development - Enterprise

About the Role:
Remitly for Developers is a new initiative, with the goal of amplifying Remitly's vision and influence through a brand new Enterprise offering. You'll join the ground-floor of a new business and have the opportunity to learn and grow quickly with the support, resources and reach of a healthy consumer business that continues to grow. You'll join a high performance team of creative builders and operators with years of experience creating customer value.
As an early member of the Sales team, you'll not only lead our largest deals but also shape the GTM strategy and sales team for the business. You'll lead sales for 1-2 important growth segments with an opportunity to build a team in the future as the business expands. Finally, you'll be the Voice of the Customer for the business and partner with Product and Compliance teams to shape the product to better serve customer needs.
This role can be based in Seattle HQ or remote in the U.S.
You will report to the VP of Revenue.
You Will:
- Lead GTM: Develop GTM strategy for a new segment including refining the target segments, value proposition and sales playbooks
- Customer outreach / prospecting: Develop a strong pipeline for the segment through smart outreach, conferences and responding to warm leads from Remitly' s network
- Enterprise Sales: Lead complex / multi-million dollar enterprise deals from prospect phase to launch, with support from Remitly partners
You Have:
- 6+ years Enterprise sales experience in FinTech, Payments or SaaS platforms
- Expert level knowledge of B2B sales and product marketing concepts
- Stellar quota performance
- Passionate about moving the international payments ecosystem forward
