Client Partner, Large Customer Sales - Retail

As we continue to invest in creating deeper, more meaningful community experiences for our users, we are partnering with the F500 Retail marketers to build effective Reddit advertising campaigns alongside us. Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with a team to drive revenue growth from new and existing large retail clients and top advertising agencies
- Lead a portfolio of Reddit’s most strategic accounts in the retail vertical: be a business owner, forecast revenue performance accurately, maintain a healthy sales pipeline
- Win new business: map client organizations, uncover client objectives, forge new relationships and educate retail marketers about Reddit
- Shape Reddit’s early-stage social commerce product roadmap by aggregating and sharing client feedback and campaign metrics with cross-functional stakeholders
- Provide thought leadership and act as a Reddit evangelist at industry events.
- Lead and run engaging client meetings from agenda to final presentation, assigning roles to all meeting participants as needed, identifying outcomes for meetings, and setting client expectations ahead of time.
- Leverage data from multiple sources (internal & external) to inform client strategies and pitch proposals.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients to communicate major platform updates, releases, changes, and/or opportunities that will deepen or expand the relationship.
- Provide strategic and consultative advice to clients in order to uplevel and grow the relationship.
- Mentor and train other team members.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in online media sales with a track record of winning new business
- Proven experience managing client and agency relationships up through C-level executives
- Exposure/experience in the retail vertical, digital media ad sales, and/or measurement solutions.
- Subject matter expertise in the social media landscape and native advertising
- Demonstrated top-performer achievement against sales targets
- BA / BS degree or equivalent work experience
