What does it take to be a Noggin?

As a member of the business development team, you’ll be highly motivated and looking to jump-start your career in software sales. You’ll have some solid experience as a Business Development Representative already (ideally B2B in the tech space) and you’re excited to join a growing organisation where you can develop your career in SaaS Sales.

You’ll need to be smart and tenacious, as you’ll need to quickly understand our products, who our competitors are and exactly what they offer. You’ll become familiar with what battle cards you need to draw and when, and you’ll be able to quickly seek out information when you need it. You’re a seller through and through – you’re a natural communicator, you’re organised and you’re succinct at getting your point across. 

Day to day, you’ll be assisting in feeding the sales pipeline through prospecting, lead generation activities, social networking, and partner channel development. You’ll also be key to ensuring prospects are identified, qualified, converted and handed to our Enterprise Account Executives.

What does success look like in this role?

By month 3 you’ll be fully up to speed with our sales process and value proposition. You’ll be well acquainted with all of our solution areas and products, and will understand how they interact with each other. You’ll be actively generating your own prospecting lists and will know our competitors inside out.

6 months in, you’ll have consistently been hitting (and exceeding) your KPI’s and targets. You’ll have identified new areas to prospect and you’ve generated high volume, quality leads for our Account Executives.  

12 months and beyond, you’ll be known as a top performer in the business development team and you’ll be paving the way to step into an enterprise account executive role. You’ll have achieved your yearly KPIs and will be actively in conversations with your manager about further opportunities to grow within Noggin.
