About the Position


Flywheel is looking for a Business Development Representative that is eager and excited to kick off their sales career and join our team. The ideal candidate will have an energetic, can-do attitude and be comfortable working in a metrics and results driven environment.

Work closely with a growing team of sales professionals. The Sales team is comprised of three teams; Life Science, Academic, and AI/ML who are empowered to achieve team and company objectives. We’re highly responsive to customer needs and constantly strive to make a positive contribution to the biomedical and life sciences communities we serve. Responsibilities

  • Prospect into strategic business accounts via cold call, email and social strategies
  • Drive sales growth and pipeline through setting up qualified meetings for Sales Representatives
  • Qualify inbound leads
  • Follow up on lead generation campaign such as conferences, webinars, and account based marketing initiatives 
  • Be a subject matter expert and evangelist of Flywheel’s products and services
  • Be a productive and nimble problem solver working on the leading edge of technology

What Would Make You a Great Fit

  • 1-2 years of experience in a quota carrying position
  • Experience with outreach such as cold calling and emailing
  • Exception written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time management and organization skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Previous experience using Salesforce is a plus
