  • Oversees the development of requirements for process or system solutions in the Sales & marketing domain by consulting with stakeholders and providing direction and guidance to IT team members.
  • Encourages partnerships between IT, Program and/or Project Managers, and other business stakeholders to drive workforce planning efforts.
  • Identifies and promotes a unifying vision throughout the organization with associated day-to-day goals and creates a climate in which people want to contribute.
  • Communicates plans, roadmaps, directions, strategies, and initiatives within business domain, verbally and in writing.
  • Promotes creativity and innovation in own team by developing creative solutions to problems, translating issues into actionable plans, leveraging new technology, and encouraging the same behavior in others.
  • Provides guidance and directs the management of business requirements and/or solutions to meet business, functional, and non-functional requirements within domain of expertise.
  • Brings together individuals from different backgrounds, locations, and cultures to accomplish project goals.
  • Works closely with Program/Portfolio manager to understand workload (which includes key decisions, project management, and resource allocation) among team members by taking into consideration employee availability, skill set, and current workload when making assignments.
  • Oversees and takes accountability for the solution design process by ensuring solutions are aligned with business strategies and operational work flow, and establishes budgets and vendor service-level agreements.
  • Ensures the appropriate implementation of and adherence to standardized tools, templates, and processes by team members to support continuous process improvement within domain of expertise.



IT CORE COMPETENCIES:

  • Functional Competency: Excellent knowledge of Sales and marketing capability models, Process, and system capabilities in the functional areas of Lead & Opportunity management, CPQ, Sales Ops, Marketing, Quality and Customer Engineering functions
  • Technical Knowledge: Good understanding of ERP (ex: Oracle, SAP) and CRM (ex: Salesforce) functions, system solutions and integration/interplay between various Sales and marketing system tools
  • Industry and Product Experiences: Experience with Semiconductor and SaaS industry dealing with hardware, software and services products with process knowledge around Auto/IoT preferred

Minimum Qualifications:
Provides strategic leadership for the company's Digital Value Creation solutions and Transformational programs. Provides direction and leadership for those involved in driving Business Architecture definition, strategy, and business capability roadmap planning in the Sales and Marketing area. Responsible for establishing deep relationships with key business counterparts, long-term business capability roadmap, and providing architecture, design, and implementation direction. Creates, evaluates, and gains alignment on long-term strategy, roadmaps, and business cases to drive the company's Sales and Marketing IT application solutions in coordination with key stakeholders and cross functional delivery teams. Candidates must have high tech experience and good understanding of SaaS based products and services, with focus on Sales & Marketing area. Candidates with experience in architecting/designing end to end Sales and Marketing solutions in Auto and/or IoT business with hardware, software and services products will be preferred.

Responsible for establishing foundational business architecture footprint by:• Developing and validating a business capability model showing an abstraction of the core Sales Ops and marketing functions • Establishing a comprehensive validation and representation of business architecture elements such as capabilities, information, and organization structure• Thoroughly mapping applications, data flows, business capability models, process models, value streams and organizational roles.

Responsible for driving Sales & Marketing transformational initiatives by:• Engaging key stakeholders and understanding business strategy and stakeholder vision • Clearly articulating what the business wants to achieve and how it creates value (both qualitative and quantitative measures)• Developing a business capability roadmap in alignment with key stakeholders, Business architect leader, Sales and Marketing vertical leadership, process and cross functional delivery teams• Developing and driving proof of value, business case evaluations and approvals through the governance structure• Defining and developing appropriate business architecture with cross functional fit• Continuously evaluating business processes and solutions using lean and six-sigma techniques• and aligning the roadmap accordingly• Evaluating and introducing efficient newer capabilities and technologies to serve business needs• Engaging with cross functional delivery teams ensuring alignment of the solution to overall architecture

The responsibilities of this role include:• Working independently with very little to no supervision.• Providing direction and guidance to BPA's/Solution architects/Project managers by identifying and prioritizing high impact projects through close collaboration with business stakeholders, proposing high level solution architecture and getting the projects approved through governance model by establishing value through cost benefit assessment • Making decisions that are significant in impact, influencing overall program or project success, finances, and/or the ability to meet objectives; Errors are not readily apparent due to the complexity of work process/product or time between decisions and results; Errors typically result in significant expenditure of time, resources, and funds to correct. • Using verbal and written communication skills to convey complex and/or detailed information to multiple individuals/audiences with differing knowledge levels. May require strong negotiation and influence, communication to large groups or high-level constituents.• Some financial accountabilities (e.g., manages a small budget, has input into P&L).• Having a great degree of influence over key organizational decisions (e.g., is making or directly making key decisions that have substantial impact on the organization).• Completing tasks that require multiple steps that can be performed in various orders; tasks require simultaneously executing multiple cognitive abilities and maintaining information in short or long-term memory.• Using deductive and inductive problem solving is required; multiple approaches may be taken/necessary to solve the problem; often information is missing or incomplete; intermediate data analysis/interpretation skills may be required.• Exercising substantial creativity is needed to innovate new processes, procedures, or work products within guidelines or to achieve established objectives.

This includes developing and communicating objectives, timelines, assignments, and goals. This also includes the ability to scope projects, orchestrate multiple activities at once, and use resources efficiently across functional areas within the enterprise.



MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of IT-relevant work experience OR 10+ years of IT-relevant work experience without a bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years leadership experience in the area of Business strategy, Business architecture and process area
  • 3+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., VP level and above).
  • Open to Remote work



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master's degree in IT-relevant field.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Frequently transports between offices, buildings, and campuses up to ½ mile.
  • Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 5 lbs.
  • Performs required tasks at various heights (e.g., standing or sitting).
  • Monitors and utilizes computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours a day.
  • Continuous communication which includes the comprehension of information with colleagues, customers, and vendors both in person and remotely.
