The Gastrointestinal Associate Sales Rep supports a designated Area of Genius Technology Advisors. The individual will call on ambulatory surgery centers, hospitals, physician offices, and locations where our products are used to treat patients. Their primary purpose is to represent the company and our product portfolio to the end user to facilitate purchases of our products. They will be required to demonstrate our product portfolio, teach clinicians how to use our products, and facilitate their purchase. They will provide procedural support on the effective use of all products in the GI portfolio.

CLINICAL EXCELLENCE

 

  • Thoroughly understand product line features, benefits and clinical proof sources.
  • Develop in-depth clinical knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the esophagus and the gastrointestinal tract.
  • Fully assimilate clinical and journal articles relative to artificial intelligence in GI, colorectal cancer screening measures, and colorectal cancer diagnosis and management.
  • Develop clinical champions for product adoption in new and existing accounts.
  • TERRITORY SUPPORT
  • Support GI Genius installation & evaluations; provide onsite service for existing customers.
  • Daily travel within region, including overnights as required.
  • Establish relationships with hospital, ambulatory surgery, and office personnel where colonoscopy procedures are performed or influenced.
  • Teach clinicians how to use our products to include intraprocedural utilization of our technology.
  • Develop a thorough understanding and ability to communicate the reimbursement environment/return on investment for our products.
  • Market development activities consisting of, but not limited to, calling on Primary Care Physicians and GI Physicians to drive awareness of disease state and treatment.
  • Vacant territory support responsibility in situations where Genius Technology Advisors are absent from territory for extended periods of time (i.e. vacation, illness, leave of absence, open territory).
  • ADMINISTRATIVE
  • Consistently provide administrative requests from the home office such as salesforce.com documents, expense reports, sales reports, and other tracking requests.
  • Create and share weekly activity calendar with the Area.
  • Contribute positively to the sales team through communication and sharing.
  • Awareness of and adherence to AdvaMed guidelines.

 

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

 

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Nice to Have

    Years of Experience

  • 2+ years of team working experience
  • Specialized Knowledge or Skills Required
  • Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with all functional areas.
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Good computer skills with specific skills in Microsoft Office: Power Point, Excel, and Word.
  • Emphasis in Business, Life Sciences, Medicine, or related preferred.
  • Field sales experience preferred.
