As an Account Development Manager , you will drive new sales through assigned PPG Paints stores, growing both existing business year-over-year, and developing new accounts. If you can provide outstanding customer service experience, this job may be for you!

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure outstanding customer service is provided to existing customer account by keeping up to date with current promotions, new products, and with current customer service practices to find opportunities for growth.
  • Develop account planning strategies, sales opportunities, accounts with growth potential, and understand existing business and the segments they serve.
  • Use Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool to run accounts, maintain call logs and contact info, run reports, etc.
  • Collaborate with store managers and employees to ensure customers' needs are met or exceeded.
  • Facilitate timely and accurate customer quotes to achieve margin targets in alignment with PPG pricing strategies.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma required with 3+ years of previous sales experience with stellar customer service acuity; Candidates with a recent bachelor's degree and some professional experience will also be considered.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required, CRM software experience preferred while previous coatings experience is highly sought after.
  • Daily travel within assigned territory; must possess valid driver's license.
